In observance of Youth Art Month Cultural Corner has collected artworks from area schools including Bishop Hogan Memorial School, Chula School District and Southwest R1 School District. This display boast beautiful work from all mediums. In addition to Youth Art Month, more than 50 works of art are on display this month during the Stefanie Aziere-Sattler Exhibition! Come and enjoy this unique exhibition of horsepower inspired - four footed and four wheeled art as well as our area youth artwork! Cultural Corner is open Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 10am to 2pm and the third Thursday of the month with extended hours until 7pm. A special closing reception for Stefanie Aziere- Sattler and our youth exhibitors will be held Thursday, March 28 from 5-7 p.m. This month's reception is being sponsored by Investors Community Bank. In 2014, Cultural Corner Art Guild & Gallery was born out of the idea to foster the already vibrant art scene in Chillicothe, Missouri, and the surrounding areas. A dedicated and hardworking team formed to put this idea into motion. Before long, the Board of Directors purchased a building at the corner of Locust and Ann Streets in the Historic Downtown Commercial District. After funds were raised through the purchase of tax credits through the NAP program and community foundations, the building underwent extensive renovations beginning in March 2016. The first classes were held in the new space beginning in June 2016, with a grand opening held in September 2016.
